Terms
~Return is based on assayed Fine Silver or Gold content.
~Assay results of flake lots are available to you in approximately five (5)
working days.
~Full settlement is available within fifteen (15) working days of receipt.
~Settlement on TMT, precipitates, and canisters will be approximately thirty
(30) days from receipt.
~Ounces recovered will be priced upon assay, unless otherwise specified.
~Pricing (hedging) is available once you approve our assay, and we will pay
you based on the Handy & Harman or Comex price
of your choice, under normal market conditions.
~Settlement can be made in 999+ fine exact weight silver bars or shot. Call
us at 1-800-545-6685 for current pricing.
~A fifty (50) dollar assay
fee applies to all lots containing less than 100 Toz.
of Fine Silver or 3 Toz. of Fine Gold.
~Academy Corporation’s Silver Market is based on the Handy & Harman
Market or the New York Comex prices. Please call
for a current quote.
~We reserve the option of rejecting scrap that we consider to contain
hazardous material.
~We reserve the option of returning your metal in the event of unstable
market conditions.
Payment
~Payment is based on our assayed
fine content. Payment can be made by check, bankwire
transfer, fine metal, or sterling sheet, wire, or casting grain.
Shipments
~F.O.B. Academy Corporation,
Albuquerque, New Mexico.
~Academy provides insurance on large silver flake shipments only.
~Academy provides numerous types of shipping containers, instructions, and
labels. Please call 800.545.6685.
~Instructions should accompany each shipment and should be enclosed inside
your containers.
~We recommend that it include your name, address, description of material,
number of packages, weights, preferred methods of payment, and any other
information considered pertinent.
~Special transportation for compliance of California regulations is no longer required for flake and
canister shipments.
~Refining of silver sweeps and other low-grade material may not be
economically justified.
